The long-time ODM zone (Gusii) has been dismantled by the second term Deputy Governor who jointly formed government in 2013 with Governor James Ongwae through an ODM Ticket.

Maangi an advocate of the high court championed Obomo Bwomogusii calling on unity among the Abagusii community urging the Interior CS Dr. Fred Matiang’i and other like-minded politicians to join the movement.

This has sent rivals into the dark making it hard to beat him in the coming 2022 Kisii county Gubernatorial elections.
