A 14-year old boy who garnered 357 marks has been rescued to Join form one after missing all the scholarships he applied for.

Despite 100% transition orders by President Uhuru Kenyatta regardless of financial background, Rachel Mogere who lost her husband years ago seemed to lack the understanding.

Baraka Melchizedek from Nyamariba Village in Sensi ward, Marani Sub County, Kisii County has been out despite his good performance from Nyagoto Primary School.

The area MCA Paul Angwenyi who received the student in his office Thursday Morning told the Daily Clock that he came to learn of the sad case this week.

“I have been saddened to learn that a student from my area is still at home with this kind of performance. He was admitted at Nyabogena Boys but the parent does not know about 100% transition. I have taken up the matter and the Boy will report to school today,” Said Paul.

“For now I can manage full shopping. I appeal to well-wishers to join hands so that we can pay school fees for this bright needy mind,” Added Paul.

Baraka has Joined Itibo Boys despite his admission to Nyabigena Boys. The reasons cited were for easy monitoring because Itibo is within Marani Sub County.
