Equity Bank Keroka sponsors 14 students to form one

Equity bank has been hailed for the wings to fly program which has transformed students’ lives across the country.

While addressing beneficiaries, parents and guardians on Friday during the flagging of the program at Keroka branch, Gusii council of elders General secretary Samuel Bosire Angwenyi hailed the bank for their support on bright and needy children joining secondary education.

“As we are here today celebrating the achievements the bank has made, we thank them for this noble idea which has transformed students lives,” said Bosire

“It’s now high time for all stakeholders  to come up and implement such programs to help more students in the society who will in return transform the country in the future,” he added

He challenged the beneficiaries to utilize the rare opportunity by working hard in class.

“This is a golden chance that the bank has granted you, take it serious. Once you excel, the good name goes to the Bank and the entire Region,” Bosire told the beneficiaries.

The Keroka branch business growth And Development Manager Casper Bunare told the Daily Clock that this year they managed to sponsor 14 students from three sub counties. Masaba North, Masaba South and Borabu.

“Wings to fly is a program aimed at providing sponsorship to bright and needy students who have financial constraints. This year our branch identified 14 students who are going to benefit from this program,” said Manager Bunaye

The 14 students will travel to Nairobi for the national event which will be attended by Equity CEO and other dignitaries.
