Poor 395 Marks Nyamira Girl traumatized after missing Scholarship, Pleads for help

Poor 395 marks candidate from Nyankoba Village, Rigoma Ward, Masaba North Constituency in Nyamira County is in tears after missing out Equity and KCB Bank scholarships respectively.

Christine Kemunto Nyansera who emerged 3rd from Nyanchonori Primary School has already received admission to Nyabururu Girls National School.

Her unemployed parents Simion Nyansera Kebiba and Bilha  Nyangweso Nyansera cannot afford even their daily bread.

Their living environment answers questions who they really are. Nyansera herds cattle at Esikimu to beat daily end meets.

On Saturday Morning, The Daily Clock arrived at her home, on the pavement was Christine traumatized unable to utter, all she does is tears rolling down her cheeks.

“We applied for Equity Bank and KCB Scholarships but we were not considered. Am worried, my daughter really did well. I have been encouraging her to work hard so that she can deliver us from poverty. She has passed, I have no money to enroll her to a national school,” Tearfully narrated Nyansera her Father.

“Because have reached the end with no scholarship, I request any well-wisher to rescue me. A child belongs to the community and not me alone. I plead with my leaders to come to my rescue,” He said.

Kemunto who calmed down told the Media that she wants to pursue Law to fight for the rights of the venerable.

“Have been through tough challenges in my primary schooling. I can’t even sleep because from our state its clear I will miss form one. I want to become a lawyer to help the people who their rights are violated,” Said Kemunto.

Nyansera is a father of 6 kids with others in various Day schools.
