Kitutu Chache South Member of Parliament Richard Momaima Onyonka has asked the Kisii County Governor James Ongwae to compensate families who their deceased’s dues are with the county Government.
Speaking at Jogoo in Kisii at a funeral of a county worker who mysteriously died after collapsing, Onyonka confidently said the money is usually allocated and should be paid to those families immediately.
“There are so many Contractors who died and left behind a widow with Children, Their Money is with the County government. Please make sure the owners have been paid. Please am not fighting No, its their right,” Said Onyonka.
Onyonka who is also rallying his 2022 Kisii governorship ambition warned Government officers including politicians against graft adding Kenyans are fed up.
“If we don’t take care those who we have been given Jobs by the Government including the President, We will be jailed. This tendency of stealing public funds, Kenyans are tired. We the people of Kenya we are tired of corruption stories,” Said Onyonka.
He has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to stand firm on the fight against corruption saying a time is coming Kenyans will take action like Sudan if the president will fail to end graft.
