As K.C.P.E examinations kicks off for a second day across the country, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi has said he if fully said he is fully satisfied with the efforts by the security agencies to ensure learners complete heir exams in a serene environment.
Matiangi on Tuesday Visited Mtwapa Primary School where he Wished candidates success in their exams and assured the nation of Government’s commitment to see that all candidates join Form One next year in line with the administration’s 100% transition policy.
He also witnessed the opening of a container with KCPE exam materials at Kanamai, Kilifi South County Commissioner’s office.
On her part Education Cabinet secretary Amina Mohamed accompanied by Exam council Chairman and TSC Kenya CEO where she opened the Langata sub-county container at 6:00am which serves 47 schools, 2321 candidates (1258-female and 1063 male).
Amina later joined president Uhuru at Uhuru Gardens Primary school where he supervised the start of the Science paper on Day 2.
