Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has assured Kenyans of total safety as K.C.P.E first papers kick off across the country.
On Tuesday morning at 5:20 a.m, Matiang’i in the company of North Eastern Regional Commissioner Mohammed Birik, witnessed the opening of the exam container at Sankuri Division in Garissa before visiting several schools, including Sankuri and Garissa primary schools.
The PS Dr. (Eng.) Karanja Kibicho on the other hand, joined Meru County Commissioner, Wilfred Nyagwanga to kick off the distribution of KCPE exam papers to 931 exam centers in Imenti North, which has 3,311 registered candidates.
The PS later paid a visit to Fred’s Academy and Gichunge Primary School and wished the students success in their exams.
The Ministry affirmed that in conjunction with all Education stakeholders, it would see to it that there are zero cases of cheating & all students receive their deserved results.
