Parliamentary Services and facilities committee vows to ensure proper service delivery to counties

The parliamentary Services and facilities committee has promised  to ensure proper facilitation and service delivery to the counties after visiting Kisii county on Tuesday

Addressing the press and staff members of Kisii county women representative office ,the chairman to the committee Nyaribari Masaba Mp Ezekiel Machogu said they will promote and give necessary support to the women rep in achieving her goals as far as service delivery is concerned in the county.

They added that they will push for improvement of workers welfare under public service commission.

Assembly today paid Hon. Janet Ong’era a courtesy call in her office in Kisii county led by its chairman Hon. Ezekiel Machogu Ombaki, Mp Nyaribari Masaba.

“Today we have come to Kisii as mandated to this committee to see  working conditions and facilities in the county ,hope through the findings we will take the report and necessary actions will be taken  to address the findings,” Machogu said

On her part Kisii county women rep  Janet Ong’era called upon the committee to come up with a programme  of facilitating workforce In the county for easy service delivery to Wananchi.

The committee members present commended Ongera for her commitment in serving the Kisii electorates by launching a number of initiatives in the recent past.

Early the morning the committee visited Kisii county headquarters  where they discussed many issues with the Deputy  Governor  who urged the committee to help the counties to get more funds for functions .


The members also present were Hon. Elisha Odhiambo -Mp, Gem, Hon. Elsie Muhanda-   WR, Kakamega County, Hon. Florence Koskey- Women Rep, Kericho County,Hon. Christopher Wangaya – Mp Khwisero ,Hon. Eng. Nzambia-Mp, Kilome.
