18 year old boy Samuel Mlongo on Tuesday chopped his 71 year old father to death over family disagreement in Sikhendu Wekhonia village, Trans-Nzoia County .
The father who was identified as Stephen Simiyu had stored some beans which he wanted to sell against the boy’s will, a move that lead to an argument between them.
According to the suspect’s sister, In between the argument the suspect grabbed a panga and chopped his father to death.
“He sent me some beans he had stored in the house to go and sell. Then Mlongo asked him Dad where are taking the beans, He asked him for a second time Where are you taking the beans, My dad told him this is mine am going to sell. He grabbed a Panga and Killed him,” Narrates his Daughter.
Police arrested the boy as they launch investigations on the horrible incident.
