Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) CEO Ezra Chiloba has been suspended just hours after high court reinstated him.

Addressing him in letter dated 14th June 2018, IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati accused Chiloba of acting in violation of his employment contract which apparently bars him from suing the commission.

Justice Stephen Radido made a ruling allowing Chiloba to Continue with his Duties pending Hearing and determination of case filed. Radido maintained that IEBC did not follow the law in suspending Chiloba.
