Its three months down the line since two political giants Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta reconciled at harambee house pledging to reunite Kenyans out of heated political hatred that had taken over the Kenyan atmosphere.

The union seems to take root after Raila Odinga hosted Kikuyu Council of Elders at his Capitol Hill office on Monday,11th June 2018.

The leaders among them Kinuthia Wamwangi expressed their joy to Mr. Odinga for accepting to join President Uhuru Kenyatta in reuniting the country.

The elders who have thanked Raila for showing direction during the struggle for independence and pushing for the release of Jomo from detention have also asked Raila to use the opportunity and help government in the  fight against corruption.

Raila Odinga on his part assured them that the war on corruption has his  full backing.

“I assure you that the war on corruption has my full backing, in line with my agreement with the President to deny refuge to those accused of corruption and who try to hide behind parties and communities,” Said Raila.
