According to Isabella his sister, the late James Arumba has been threatening his mother after she refused to allocate a piece of land for him.
It’s said the suspect who was killed on Sunday has been pushing his mother so that he can sell his share to buy a motorbike.
“My mother refused and he chased her away. She has been living in our grandmother’s home till Tuesday when she came back home,” Narrated Isabella.
On Friday evening, James is said to have attacked his mother in the house while heavily raining, tied her with a wire round the neck and killed her.
“My uncle has been pushing my brother to demand for his share so that they can sell. He had already sourced a client for him,” Said Isabella.
Philip has called on the Public to amicably solve family wrangles through mediation instead of taking the law into their hands.
