Kisii and Nyamira County youths on Thursday unveiled a new Political Party sending shock waves to political arenas. Gusii politics is expected to take a new twist following the new umbrella.

The new Party of Economic Democracy (PED) is set to solve inclusivity by allowing all people of different abilities and disabilities, all religious diversity and cultural diversity.

Benfred Obino the founder told the Daily Clock shortly after receiving the certificate in Nairobi that the Party is set to achieve the nation’s goals.

“To be able to achieve the nation’s goals, It’s time we must start reconciling citizen’s economic needs with our country’s national riches, this forms a great pillar of our Party. Empowerment of our people will only lead to great strides of growth of our Country,” Said Obino.

The dream which has taken approximately two and a half years has finally come true. Obino says they have spent long nights, sleepless nights, traveled across the country trying to comply with the requirements.

Kisii and Nyamira Counties have for a long time been deeply rooted in ODM. The Deputy President Dr. William Ruto has invested his efforts and camped in the area for decades trying to uproot and plant Jubilee.

If PED is the new youth force to go by, then giant Political Parties like ODM and Jubilee are set to be admitted at the Intensive Care Unit.

Obino said they are already focusing on Msambweni Constituency and Kahawa Wendani Ward vowing to have their candidates on the ballots.

“Our eyes are already focusing on Msambweni Constituency and Kahawa Wendani ward. Our candidates must appear on those ballots. I believe with effort and determination we will be the next ruling party,” He said.
