Justice Smokin Wanjala hospitalized of H1N1 Swine Flu in India, says Maraga

Chief Justice David Maraga on Wednesday said Hon. Justice Smokin Wanjala is currently hospitalized in India where he flew to attend  a Judicial Conference.

Tweeting, Maraga confirmed that Wanjala who is expected to be discharged had contracted H1N1 Swine flu which he said also affected six Indian supreme Judges.

Maraga affirmed the Nation that the Judge is in stable condition making great progress and may be discharged today.

“Hon. Justice Smokin Wanjala, who is in India for a Judicial Conference, is hospitalized and is undergoing treatment for the H1N1-Swine flu which also affected 6 Indian Supreme Court Judges,’ Tweeted Maraga.

He added “The Judge is making great progress and may be discharged today. Wish him speedy recovery,”
