in 2013 Joash Maangi from Bomachoge made a union and deputized James Ongwae who hails from Kitutu Chache North with a promise of the Abagetutu returning a hand to Abamachoge come 2022, a move that saw them clinch the top county seats.
The Abagetutu under James Ongwae as their spokes person vowed to Support the Abamachoge represented by Joash Maangi after 10 years a deal they sealed.
In Kenya politics works by making calculations around clanism. Lucky the Majority always benefit.
It has now clearly emerged that Maangi is no longer from Bomachoge as many thought. Not even Abamachoge themselves knew this trick.
Speaking at Marani on Wednesday during the Sensi zone prize giving day ceremony, Maangi publicly, in broad day light admitted that indeed he hails from Sensi ward in Kitutu Chache North.
“And this is my home. Our home is just down here at Sensi that is why this person asked me so. But again let me not say this my people to turn against me that am not From Bomachoge am Omogetutu. But then everybody hails from Kitutu. All of us are from Kitutu,” He said.
Will the 2022 marriage still work as planned, now that the two County Bosses all of them hail from one clan?
