Renowned Benga Musician Joseph Kamaru who has been praised for uniting Kenyans using his Kikuyu Music was laid to rest on Thursday in Muranga.
President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and ODM Party leader Raila Odinga led Thousands of Kenyans in the Colorful send off.
Addressing Mourners during the Burial Ceremony, Raila praised the late Kamaru for advocating Peace and Unity in Kenya using Music.
“We have come to Mourn our friend and Brother who is not from any tribe but a figure to all Nations. .We have lost a person who united all Kenyans,” Said Raila.
Raila has also said his handshake with Uhuru is not related to 2022 politics but for peace to all Kenyans. He called upon all Kenyans to support their effort of uniting Kenya.
Raila’s sentiments were echoed by deputy President William Ruto who said they will continue to partner together as leaders so as to unite Kenyans and bring development to this country.
Kamaru Died last week while receiving treatment at MP Shah Hospital in Nairobi.
