Protests erupted in Uganda on Friday morning over the rearrest of Bobi Wine.
The angry supporters of the fearless former Musician barricaded roads using garbage which forced drivers to find an alternative route. They burnt tires at Kamwokya where the lawmaker has a recording studio.
Police said the protests had been contained.
On Thursday the young opposition Member of parliament was blocked from jetting out of Uganda to seek urgent further medication.
A Facebook post from His wife indicated the legislator was violently arrested by security forces at Entebe airport as he was heading to Washington DC.
“Bobi has been violently arrested by Security forces at Entebbe airport as he was heading to Washington, USA for treatment even when he has clearance from court to travel. He has a medical report from Lubaga hospital recommending urgent medical treatment abroad.” Wrote Barbie.

According to his wife, Bobi might be disabled forever if the Museveni government will not allow him to seek medication.
“He has missed his flight and time is running out. There is something we’re not getting. By denying him access to medical treatment, do they need him disabled for life?” She posted.
Bobi was charged of treason after he was accused of allegedly stoning President Museven’s Convoy this Month but in a case, the court granted him access to private doctors.
