Deputy President William Ruto has said that it’s time to discuss development not politics.
Speaking on Friday during the burial ceremony of Henry Obwocha , the DP said that for some time the country has been discussing about politics which has dragged development in the country.
“It’s time we need to focus on development, what Kenyans want to hear is all about development, let us focus on development,” DP said
He said they will ensure they fulfill promises which they made during campaigns in honour of the late Obwocha who was the point man during the campaigns.
“As you are aware the Government must complete all launched projects before embarking to new ones , I would like to say that once all projects are completed we will ensure our promises are fulfilled,” said DP
He also said that the Government has allocated some money in aid of connecting 12,000 households with electricity,and Ksh100 million to be allocated to construct a technical training in west Mugirango in honour of the late Henry Obwocha.
The Deputy also noted that the Government has reduced 50% of school fees to those who will be joining technical training from September this year.
