Kisii Boys National School was closed indefinitely on Wednesday afternoon following a dormitory that was reduced to ashes on Tuesday night
Addressing the students in the school, Regional Education Director Richard Chepkawai gave direction for the school to be closed indefinitely.
They were allowed to go home after they boomed at the Director demanding to go home a move that lead to closure. They refused to stay in school.
Eight suspects who were captured by CCTV leaving the dorm shortly before it caught fire were arrested on Wednesday morning and are in police custody as police officers have commenced investigation.
This came after a dorm named as Wire was set ablaze on Tuesday night but no student was injures only all the property was lost.
