Ford Kenya Partly leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has threatened to form a new coalition with Amani National Congress Party lead by Muasalia Mudavadi ahead of 2022 general Election.
Speaking during a meeting with all Ford Kenya Members of parliament in Trans-Nzoia, Wetangula said his party has given him a go ahead with the talks.
“We are in talks with Amani National Congress Leader Musalia Mudavadi of uniting the two parties to form a strong voting block ahead of 2022. My people have given me a go ahead to continue with the talks of uniting Ford Kenya and ANC to form a coalition,” said Wetangula.
Wetangula has also accused ODM partly leader Raila Odinga of breaking their covenant Which they made as NASA Principals before the last year’s August general Election saying Raila is no longer interested with NASA for he has been seen much concentrated with his ODM party.
“All our NASA documents that we signed we clearly said if one principal leaves, the remaining three will still remain in NASA. If you keenly follow of late Raila does not speak about NASA. He only speaks about ODM and he has separated himself from NASA,” Said Wetangula.
In early April this year, Opposition leader Raila Odinga who was also the NASA leader united with Uhuru Kenyatta in unexpected handshake that left NASA in limbo.
