Nyamira youths have accused Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose over incompetence in the constituency .
The MP was vindicated from boycotting parliamentary debates in the national assembly since he was elected.
Addressing the press, the youths Lead by Abuga Makori said patriots have been raising fundamental issues with regard to equity and transparency in disbursement of bursaries especially in 2017/2018 financial year but nothing seems forthcoming for over nine months.
As democrats, the youths have said the law maker should quit his job or they mobilize the masses against his defective leadership.
“Despite promising to serve diligently, we are now grappling with a substantial number of university and college students who failed to get the bursaries for academic year 2017/2018,” he said.
Makori who has accused Mose for dismissing applications from people aged 35 years and above despite their urge for education has said, a number of comrades are struggling to clear their school fees.
He further said that the MP has shown total disregard in absorption of youths into employment.
“Those who are employed as CDF committee members are retirees, not even a youth has been recruited,” he said.
Makori noted that in 2017/2018 financial year the constituency was awarded ksh.29m for infrastructure to improve feeder roads as 11million which was allocated for Uwezo fund kitty has not benefited the 130 groups as it was scheduled
The youths challenged him to come on board clearly to explain the alleged allegations. They have threatened to collect signatures and send the MP Parking.
Our effort to reach the area MP to comment on the allegations was futile.
