Kisii county woman representative Janet Ong’era has warned those who are opposing the amendments in the current constitution.

According to Ong’era the current constitution should be amended to avoid political differences that emerge in every general election in the country to accommodate many communities in leadership

Speaking in Kisii town, Ongera said is a ware of the errors in the constitution and should be looked at before the next general elections

“I am leader in the national assembly I know what the constitution has, those who are opposing the amendments of the constitution should stop let them stop,” she said.

A section of jubilee leaders mostly the deputy president’s allies are opposing the amendments of the current constitution since the proposal was out.

Ruto himself has been insisting that no need to amend the constitution by urging the leaders in the country to focus on development and to stop propagating petty politics every time to time something that has been opposed by NASA leaders who are pushing for the amendments of the constitution.
